Finished this book again 01/29/09. I enjoyed it much more this time, whether that is because I read it instead of listening to it or just because it was the second time, I can't say.

More later, but for now: I just didn't feel sympathy for any of the characters, and distrusted the primary narrator. Made it hard to care what happened!

Another lovely Victorian romance, filled with heartbreak and intrigue and brooding masculine types. Loved it!!
