I think I liked this one better than the first. The characters were a little more developed, and I wanted to dig in a little more, not just skim for highlights. I love/hate that the stories seem to end with a cliffhanger, making me want to dive right into the next one. This series has me hooked, and I'll be continuing on to the next one.

It has been a very long time since I've read a book and not been able to figure out its ending. This Luxe series sucks you in and makes you want to drop everything you're doing and finish the book. It is kind of nice not have it just assumed that the book will have a HEA...you keep hoping for it, but you're not sure until the very end. Good second installment...can't wait for the third.
