Re-read. This book is one of those YA books that transcends age. Lara Jean is such a special, authentic character. She feels so real that I'm almost offended to call her a character.
This book was even better on the re-read, now that I could take the time to actually read it more deeply rather than rushing through to see what happens. I love the Song sisters and Mr. Covey. This book is the epitome of a 3.5 star book--I liked, but didn't quite "really like" it. :) I thought it was sweet and lighthearted and I liked the Song clan enough to continue with the series. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to checking out the movie on Netflix (which my two of my own sisters liked a lot)!
