4 stars for the story and the 5th star for Tim Curry. He was AMAZING "performing" this book. There were a few scenes in Christmases Past, Present and Yet To Come that I didn't recognize from all the movie/TV adaptations I've seen...but not many. And I have to say, the Muppet Christmas Carol, which I watched the night before I started listening to this, was surprisingly faithful to the story. Michael Caine was a wonderful Scrooge (and of course the Muppets were wonderful in the supporting roles).

I can't believe it took me so long to read this. A great classic story, although I keep picturing Mickey Mouse in my head as Bob Cratchit.

A great story, though old Dickens does tend to waffle on a bit! A quick read (well, I listened to the audio version actually), spine tingling and thought provoking! Good stuff!
