I really liked this graphic novel, especially since I'm always on the lookout for books (especially in graphic form) my students will like. It's about an anti-hero little girl and the villain "boss" into whose life she inserts herself. There are adventures and mishaps and dragons and science. I loved this exceptional comic. It was darkly funny, bring from the villain's perspective. I enjoy the stylized artwork. I like the combination of medieval knights and mad scientists vs. evil institution with a olden hero. I will read anything she does from here on out.

I don't think I've ever read a graphic novel in its entirety, but I had heard great things about this and read a few chapters online. It didn't disappoint! I was impressed by the depth of the main characters, and the story was intriguing and surprising.
