This is basically a memoir into how a journalist found his way to a steady, helpful meditation practice, and I found it a very engaging and well-done book. I'd recommend it quite readily to anyone who's not into the "woo-woo" stuff and might be a bit of a skeptic on meditating. Harris has a wry sense of humour and some real snark. Loved his takes on Eckhart Tolle and Deepak Chopra (who are NOT, ultimately, his meditation gurus, although he does learn a few things before finding other teachers).
