This book was so bizarre and unsettling that it broke my brain a little. In a really good, worth it kind of way. I stayed up to finish practically the entire second half and am really worried about how this is going to affect my dreams.
Need to get the sequel PRONTO!!!!!
Seriously creepy science fiction horror that reminds me a bit of "The Fly" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" with a hefty dose of "Solaris" tossed in. Wow! This story is written as an anti-character study, and with a completely unreliable narrator. What just happened?! It is creepy and mysterious and if this turns out just to be a military experiment gone wrong, i will be extremely disappointed. I am barely going to make it through the day before I can go find a copy of the next book.
Psychological biohorror. This book is CRAY.
