What Members Thought

This is interesting. Thought-provoking, with a pace weirdly slow but engaging. Like sap or syrup. I found this a fascinating study of loss and mourning and love and disengagement.
It’s not a thriller, if that is what one is expecting. But if you let go of the expectation of a narrative and let this be an exploration of character and change and transformation? There’s something beautiful and sad in this weirdness.

Interesting, creepy exploration into Area X, a pristine natural landscape that behaves mysteriously and changes the people who enter it. Not a lot of answers in book 1, and not as many strange things observed as there are just feelings the things are wrong. (Until the end, of course.)
