Ha! Actually it's 3,5 stars (when is Goodreads going to add the half stars in its system???). Anyway. I love: the 80s setting, all the music and stuff (although besides music and walkman, I guess there's nothing much about the 80s in this book), the characters (eleanor is quite ok and park- although a little bit too hopelessly romantic for my taste - is kinda cute), and the feeling I had when reading this book (reminiscing about the past, uh huh).

I wanted to love this. And I loved some things about it. But ultimately teenage love is mostly interesting to the teenagers in love. Park would totally have been high school me's cup of tea, though.

So this is a pretty melodramatic book and in many ways does not break new ground, but it is beautifully written and just completely emotionally sucked me in. So enjoyable.
