This is going on my must-buy list. Gorgeous, unsettling artwork and eerie, haunting stories with the kind of endings that will leave you impressed and uncomfortable. Seriously lovely.

Ooooh, this was so good! A creepy, haunting collection of stories a bit like a grown-up (and fully illustrated) Scary Stores to Tell in the Dark. I love how the art of each story was a bit different - the use of color was amazing. Unsettling!

A lot of the art in Through the Woods is gorgeous, particularly the introduction and conclusion.

However, most of the actual stories just felt lackluster at best. They weren't particularly special or intriguing or frightening. I'd give the art 4.5 stars and the stories a 2 at best.
