I like John Green and I very much like David Levithan. This was a cute collaboration between them, though I would bet they essentially each wrote the chapters for one of the Wills. will (no caps) was quite depressed and rather depressing, which depressed me. I didn't think his chapters had enough...something to them. I felt for him, but I didn't quite believe him. Surprising since will was most likely David's creation. While Will (caps) wasn't completely believable to me either, his supporting c

I liked this book because it is funny. I'm not a huge fan of either John Green or David Levithan, but I don't dislike them either. I thought Looking for Alaska and Are We There Yet? were both really good. So, they wrote alternating chapters for this one, John Green covering the life of Will Grayson from Evanston, and David Levithan covering the life of Will Grayson from Naperville. I really liked it and thought it was funny and perfectly high school angst-y, but it was also set in my neighborhoods (Frenchy's is half a block away from my office and I walk past it at least twice a day, and I live on the far north side of Chicago, so Evanston is a little over a mile away), so I think that added to its charm and appeal.

Hilarious, brilliant, and simply entertaining. A rare LGBT book for YA. My first experience reading both John Green and David Leviathan's book. And it's an awesome adventure, as long as you keep your mind open =)
