I like John Green and I very much like David Levithan. This was a cute collaboration between them, though I would bet they essentially each wrote the chapters for one of the Wills. will (no caps) was quite depressed and rather depressing, which depressed me. I didn't think his chapters had enough...something to them. I felt for him, but I didn't quite believe him. Surprising since will was most likely David's creation. While Will (caps) wasn't completely believable to me either, his supporting c ...more

Like all of John Green's other books, this one was richly funny, while tackling serious social issues. It was so important that multiple key characters in the book were gay; the bullying and suicide of GLBTQ teens is high school issue that Green both had a responsibility to which to lend his very popular name, and it is also an issue that my own book club has discussed. I really loved seeing two sides to this story. I had a clear preference for a Will Grayson/writing style, but I still really enjoyed it as a whole. Tiny was practically sprung from a Steve Kluger novel (which is to

the melodrama.

I quite enjoyed this book, a story about two teenage boys named Will Grayson who meet each other. Told in alternating chapters, each Will Grayson gives their POV on their lives, their friends/family and about growing up/learning to love.

I really liked it and thought it was funny and perfectly high school angst-y, but it was also set in my neighborhoods (Frenchy's is half a block away from my office and I walk past it at least twice a day, and I live on the far north side of Chicago, so Evanston is a little over a mile away), so I think that added to its charm and appeal. ...more

This book is so, so good. These characters became real people for me, and their heartaches and triumphs became my own. It made me laugh out loud, repeatedly, and it had me in tears at the end. Wow.
