This book is fascinating! If you've ever wondered what really happens when someone donates their body to science or how those fancy CSI people actually know the things they do, read this book. ...more

Everything you ever wanted to know about dead bodies...but never thought of asking. A fun read which covers medical donations, the profession of undertaking, decomposition, forensics, entomology, and the different ways cultures approach death.

I found this book to be very imforative, once you get over the gross aspect that is a cadaver. I enjoyed reading it and I also enjoyed the strange looks I received from people asking me what I was reading...

This is one of those books where after reading it, you want to meet the author and go out with her for drinks and/or field research.
