Insurgent, the sequel to Divergent, manages to do what many second books in a trilogy fail to do - continue the action, character development and plot advancement in a way that is just as satisfying as book #1. Yet it certainly left me hungering for book #3 - and I'll have to wait a while to satisfying that desire.

I was really looking forward to this book, but it was a weak follow-up to "Divergent." The love story was far too pronounced, and the plot became redundant.
