In other news, Wonder is a lovely book and the audio production was great. I wasn't super-jazzed about the rotating narrators at first, but since it kept coming back to Auggie it got better.

I enjoyed this book but reading it 3 weeks postpartum during baby feelings meant my baby was drenched in tears during mealtimes. I think this is a great book and I'm glad my 4th grader recommended it! ...more

This book needs to be on the required reading list for every human being. It was beautifully written and shows the importance of accepting others and accepting ourselves, no matter what hand we've been dealt. Auggie is an inspiration; Summer is the picture of kindness. So many things can be learned by everyone, no matter their age, from this book. ...more

Really good, solid message. Definitely a must-read for a young person. To me, it didn't live up to the hype and I didn't get really attached to the story. I think I knew what was going to happen from the beginning. But it was a feel good story about kindness, physical differences, and how to deal in difficult situations that arise in life. ...more
