Meh. This sequel is supposed to follow Scarlet, whose grandmother is missing and who is being followed by a big wolf. The narrative perspective switches between Cinder and Scarlet, and introduces Captain Thorne, a snarky, egotistical piratey pilot. I didnt find the narrative voices distinctive enough from each other-a complaint I seem to often have in sequels with switching perspectives.
