Oh boy. Like, this was the first Alice Munro book I've ever read (listened to), and I get it--Alice Munro can write a short story. So boring. Still, obviously, I can admire the quality of her prose.

Like Mad Men, sometimes, if it took place in rural Canada. I probably never would have read this if it weren't part of the list I chose to work from for my fiftyfifty.me major, but now I'm glad I did, and I'm feeling extra gratified at having been in the middle of it when Munro won the Nobel. I tend to lose patience with short story collections, but I guess I should get over that.
