Georgie and Neal's marriage is in trouble. When he takes their daughters to his family for Christmas, she tries to call him and ends up talking to him 15 years earlier, right before he proposed. I am a sucker for timey-wimey-ness, so I really liked the premise. I struggled because while the writing was engaging and the characters felt so incredibly real, I didn't much care for Georgie, or 1990s Neal. It was interesting reading this right after Seconds, because they're both about late twentysomething/early thirtysomethings getting some kind of do-over. I loved them both, because I guess I'm at that stage of my life. EVERYTHING'S FINE DON'T LOOK AT ME
I loved Georgie as a protagonist. Except for the failing marriage part, I related to her very strongly.
