2nd 5 Star book of 2017!
Full disclosure - I started reading Truth or Beard and couldn't finish it, because Jessica drove me nuts and I just wanted to slap her, but when I saw this one keep popping up in my feed with squees and hearts eyes surrounding it I had to give this one a go and I am so glad I did. I can't add anymore than what has already been said about this book but I will say this, if you have had issues with any of the previous books in the past I do recommend giving this one a go, C ...more

I loved getting inside Cletus' head and getting to see ...more

Male protagonist: Machiavellian, genius, handsome, bearded, Southern, and actually gave me a fair bit of a Mr. Darcy feel. Weirdly. And it gets stronger every time I read it. Pride and prejudice and Banana Cakes.

"How could I have disregarded her? How could I have looked at her with anything but wonder and respect and desire?" - Cletus Winston

But Ms. Reid wrote him very well and gave all of the chapters from his perspective good detail about how his mind worked and why he was the way he was. Clever and diabolical doesn't even begin to describe tha ...more
