I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I have been meaning to read Penny Reid for a long time, two years at least. But I kept putting it off. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!
Not even 2% into this book I knew I was going to love it. And I really did.
I had a busy weekend, so I wasn't able to read much, but I picked it up every second I could. Usually late at night. I didn't get much sleep. I have also learned if I'm really tired while laug ...more

I adore Cletus!
Sorry. I just had to get that out of the way, at least for now.
After reading and enjoying The Hooker and The Hermit I wanted to see what Ms. Reid had to offer without a co-author and bumped Truth or Beard up on the TBR list and really enjoyed it. It was a fun read with a good mix of sweet, smexy, angst and a little crazy thrown in the mix and had some great characters that I’m looking forward to get to know better as the series progresses.

Truth: The husband loves Penny Reid's books. Dare: Husband challenged me to read one of her books. Truth or Beard was my choice. Challenge accepted: OMG!!!!! How could I have been so stupid. I have missed out on so many hours of entertainment. This will be a short review. I have so many Reid books to read before I can rest. Jessica James has crushed on Beau Winston FOREVER. Duane Winston, Beau's identical twin, has crushed on Jessica for as long as he can remember. Tired of waiting for Jess; Dua

An excerpt from my previous review of Truth or Beard (the Kindle version):
For me, this is the whole package: you've got romance, humor, an overprotective brother, bikers, family drama, skinny dipping, 'famous' sausage, blackmail, and even a lesson or two in grammar. I sucked this book down like a cold glass of sweet iced tea on a hot July afternoon. Just thinking about all those beards and brothers and banjos (... and even a Brony?) gives me zings in my things. I am not-so-patiently waiitng for ...more

All the feels!
I'm a Penny fangirl, I know. I look forward to her books coming out, hoard them up till I can't stand it any more, then leap on them and devour them in one massive book-fest. And then I end up with a book hangover and have to go back and read them again. They're that good. This is no exception to that rule. ...more

First book is a hit!
Since I truly LOVED Penny Reid's series *Knitting in the City*, I wasn't sure how I would like this new series about the Winston Brothers. Let me tell you, I love it just fine! Cannot wait for each and every one of the subsequent stories to be published! ...more
