This is a great anthology full of 4 to 5 Star reads. Great stories and supporting a great cause. Now I'd only read books from two of these authors previously, so I was quite excited about reading more from them. I wasn't sure how things would go with the new-to-me authors, but I was pleased with how much I enjoyed their stories, and look forward to reading more from them in the future. Here are my individual reviews:

The Bottom Line

This is a anthology with all proceeds going to charity. I didn't read them all but the ones I did were well done and fun, such as:

Better The Devil You Know by Belle Aurora (3 stars)

I like Ms. Aurora’s writing, and this was a cute little romance that wrapped up abruptly.

Lights Out by Jodie Beau (5 stars)

Loved it, very pleased with the character development in such a short story. History, chemistry, humor conveyed well to the read, all combined with tight pacing. I am eager to read

So far I've only read Nightmare in Night Court by N.M. Silber, and let me just say that lady is brilliant! I adore Braden and Gabrielle, they are just the cutest couple. So this book takes place in the court room on Halloween night, when all the crazies run amok and boy do they! There is a little mystery, a little evening delight, and a whole lot of funny!! ...more

I'm not even sure where to start with this collection of stories. I bought it for a number of reasons.

1. Penny Reid wrote a short story featuring one of the Winston brothers, although other Winston boys make an appearance. They're bearded hotties she unleashed on the unsuspecting world in Beauty and the Mustache. I love Penny's stories and knew there was no way I could miss out on reading it.

2. All proceeds are going to charity, St. Jude's Children Hospital, which I think is amazing. At last c

To be fair, I bought this purely because Penny Reid had a story in it... And I don't regret it at all! That short story made the whole purchase worth it, and I'm slowly now making my way through the rest of the anthology. Some stories are great, some are not my favorites, but I'd definitely say this is worth it even if you only find one or two stories that you love because there are some spectacular ones here! ...more
