5 Shiny Stars for each and every one of stories in this book!

Perfect!

These short stories were wonderful little teasers/treasures/gifts to carry the fans of the Knitting in the City series through until the next full length story is to be released in Summer/Fall of 2015.

LOVED Janie and Quinn's honeymoon scene.

However, the last short story in this book is my ABSOLUTE favorite!

This is a must buy for any Penny Reid fan. We get a wonderful winter treat here with laugh out loud sexy times from all of our favorite couples plus Fiona and Greg.

Fiona and Greg are my favorites of these collection of scenes. I am excited that they have their own book coming.

Pre order because it is only available for a short time!

I loved this book so much, the characters that I already loved I found that I can love them even more and now I have a new couple to look forward to, Fiona and Greg were AWESOME and I can't wait for Happily ever Ninja!! When Penny Reid announced that there would be a Festivus gift for her readers with scenes from our favorite KitC characters, I was beyond ecstatic. And mostly for more Sandra & Alex! SitC gives just a glimpse into the happiness of her four well known protagonists & their significant others while also introducing us to Fiona & Greg!

The best part of SitC (and the KitC books) is PR's ability to tell so many stories from so many perspectives without coming off as stale, repetitive or formulaic, a ha ...more

I started reading Penny Reid earlier this year. I had signed up to review Neanderthal Marries Human, and needed to start the series pronto. As soon as I read Neanderthal Seeks Human I was hooked. Janie is a Neanderthal after my own heart, and I am still looking for my very own Quinn. After Janie and Quinn we were treated to Elizabeth and Nico in Friends Without Benefits. This two had so much chemistry it was ridiculous. Then along came Sandra and Alex in Love Hacked. Again, I thought how on Eart I started reading Penny Reid earlier this year. I had signed up to review Neanderthal Marries Human, and needed to start the series pronto. As soon as I read Neanderthal Seeks Human I was hooked. Janie is a Neanderthal after my own heart, and I am still looking for my very own Quinn. After Janie and Quinn we were treated to Elizabeth and Nico in Friends Without Benefits. This two had so much chemistry it was ridiculous. Then along came Sandra and Alex in Love Hacked. Again, I thought how on Earth can another couple be better. Sandra is hilarious, and Alex might have seemed a tid bit sinister, but I loved him too. Then we have Ashley and Drew in Beauty and the Mustache. Drew, oh Drew. You and those Winston brothers are quite lovable too.

In Scenes from the City we get little snippets of each of these couples and another Knitter in the City, Fiona, and her hubby, Greg, when they first met in college. Janie and Quinn are always a treat. They can't seem to get enough of each other, and Janie is just wackadoodle enough to bring humor to every story she' in. In their story, they are away on their honeymoon. I have a few key phrases for you - binder of vaginas, ziplock bag of cane toads, and Kama Sutra. Good times, right!?! It's great!

Next we get Elizabeth and Nico. These two are not my favorite couple, but I do enjoy their scenes together. Their scene is more emotional, but you can definitely feel the love they have for each other.

Sandra and Alex are crazy adorable. I love them together, and the fact that they can be weird together, well that just makes my cold little heart go pitter patter.

Ashley and Drew are in the running for my favorite couple. They have an amazing connection, and I love that they are a truly romantic couple.

Lastly, Fiona and Greg. We've seen Fiona in the other books as a fellow knitter, and we know that Greg is her husband. In their scene we get to see Fiona starting at college far away from home. While out and about she meets Greg, an older boy-man. Again, these two are quite something. I cannot wait to get my hands on the awesomeness that will be their book when it comes out next year.

This series is only around for a short time. AND only 99 cents. Penny's even donating her profit, so it's a win-win! ...more

This little book...
IF you are a Penny Reid fan, then QUICKLY go buy this book as soon as it's available. I loved all of the short stories in this book. It whet my appetite for a little more of Janie & Quinn, Elizabeth & Nico, Sandra & Alex (My fave), Ashley & Drew (swoon) and Greg & Fiona's story which is to come in Happily Ever Ninja.

Greg and Fiona's teaser was BY FAR my favorite. I love Greg!!

What a lovely holiday appetizer! Each story was a perfect taste / tease for my love of all things knitty! Cannot wait to sink my teeth into the Ninja story! Greg is now my favorite new Book Boyfriend!
