Kitaba ön yargılı başlamıştım kapağı ve adından dolayı ama hiç beklemediğim kadar güzel çıktı. Benim bu ön yargıları napıcaz ya kim bilir daha kaç muhteşem kitabı kaçırmışımdır bu yüzden.

I first noticed this book, These Broken Stars, when I searched through the YA section at B&N, and I’ll be straightforward, the cover lured me in. Yes, I judged the book by the cover, but I also followed up by reading reviews online to see if it was something worth reading. Jackpot: interesting story description, great reviews and dazzling cover. This is unlike any science fiction book I’ve ever read. I absolutely love this book! I instantly connected with the characters, I just loved them from the start. The reason I actually bought this book is because I absolutely loved the cover, and I had it sitting on my shelf for quite a while before picking it up. Even though I love this book, it took me a while to read, but that’s probably my own fault, because I had books arriving in the mail almost every day, so I put off reading These Broken ...more

I think 4.5 stars??... I think?? Hmm. 4 or 4.5.

I'm really interested to see how the sequels fit in, because there's literally zero plot holdover?? I mean, the book ended and the whole plot ended, so... idk. It just didn't feel like an ending of a first book; it felt like the ending of an only book.

Also, Tarver's a war hero, but they literally don't even tell us what the war is over? Who is fighting in this war? Why are they fighting each other? What did Tarver do to be proclaimed a war hero at 1
