I have always been a fan of Nicholas Sparks books. This one did not disappoint. Two stories are told here. First there is Ira who looks back on his life with his wife, Ruth. Then there is Sophia and Luke, two young adults that fall in love. I really enjoyed how the characters all come together and the interesting twist at the end of the book.

Soppy romance that I only read because it was on the NY bestsellers of 2014. Wasn't really my cup of tea and I found it to be an unlikely storyline. ...more
