I really thought the first two books were much easier to read. This one started slow and ended slow for me. Perhaps I was also a little disappointed in the direction Margaret's character took. Once I got past the first 100 pages I really started to enjoy the flow of the book and the build up of events. But then towards the end it seemed to drag out a bit and some of the killing (and what came after) was a bit to much for me.
