Shelves: fantasy

The highlight of this book has got to be the character Adolin - if I was rating this book just based on his parts it would be 5++ stars for sure. Such a well written character, flawed and multidimensional, but not annoyingly so.

Which leads to a characters who were the opposite - Kadalin and Shallan. OMFG did these two annoy me in this book, which considering they're the two main characters, is a massive detriment to the rest of the book. Especially towards the back end when they meet and we spe ...more

Might be the best boook I have read this year. I have grown attached to basically everything. From the characters to the plot. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
