Shelves: 2015-reading-challenge, read-in-2015

I know The Corrections is the book Franzen is most known for, but this is the one I chose to read first. I chose to read it now for a challenge and I had time since it is still vacation time. I was not sure what to think at first. The first 25 or so pages gives an overview of a family in the St. Paul suburbs of Minnesota. I was not too into it at first and slept on that. Shelves: adult-fiction, ebook, could-not-finish, family-saga, realistic-fiction

I have lost all my patience on this book. Reading this feels like reading a monotonous rambling of a crazy person. All the characters are such real-life-walking-cliches that reading about them can cause an eye sore.
