Considering the fact that I knew what was coming, it was a surprisingly good read. I really like how we get two different perspectives of Carrie. One meant for the general public (the books, the testimonies and journals) but also Carrie's perspective of herself. To me the book Carrie is a great example of how we don't know what is happening behind the scenes. It showcases this by giving us all these perspectives and making us feel for Carrie
