What Members Thought
I wasn't sure I would keep reading this series - the first one felt all over the place despite having an interesting premise. I am glad I persevered, because the second book is a huge improvement over the first.
The second book delves into what I wanted from the first story, which was more about what's going on in this creepy town. Who are these people and why do they agree to this strange lifestyle where you occasionally murder someone for dissenting against the status quo?
