My gosh, I loved this book. I am a big dystopian/post-apocalyptic/zombie fan, and I was initially a little bit put off about reading this because so many reviews emphasized that it "really isn't about the apocalypse--it's more about the people." While the author doesn't go into a great deal of detail about the virus that causes the collapse, you still get the full effect. I loved this novel. The author weaves a brilliant story about the collapse of civilization. The characters were well developed and relatable. I've found that lacking in many of my recent reads. The only disappointing thing was, that it ended too soon. :) I'd love to know more about the characters and their journeys or see the graphic novel that was so important to the story.
