Loved this. Thought I may not like this but too many friends gave it good reviews to not read. Quoting a quote because I cannot do this book justice.

Week 38 of the 2017 Reading Challenge: A novel inspired by a work of classic literature. According to a list of suggestions for the week, this book was inspired by Fahrenheit 451. I do not see any resemblance between the novels. But this has been on my To Read list for awhile now so I went with it!

I did not like this book! I wanted to like it because everyone gave it 5 stars! I just couldn't get into it! I didn't like the back and forth of it and the fact I didn't identify with or like one single character in it! when I don't like a character it makes it hard to love! oh well!

I'm not usually one for "apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic" books - but I'm glad I picked this up. I would have liked a little more of the book to be devoted to the period during/immediately after the pandemic, but it was great nonetheless!
