I've had a hard time giving this one a review. I liked hearing about her journey and all the places she got to see. She was a tough girl and I give her a ton of credit it for being able to do this alone, but for some reason, I just couldn't connect with her. I'm glad that she did get to a place where she was comfortable with herself and found happiness, but the beginning and some choices she made, were frustrating to me. I chose this book for the "Book Made Into a Movie" selection on my 2015 reading challenge list, and I was not disappointed. The movie is on my to watch list, but I have not watched it yet. I really enjoyed this book - except for the part where she describes putting down her mother's beloved horse. I truly hope that was not re-created for the movie.
