One novel that has put me in a transit -'I just want to flip to the next', my mind says. Miller Halters who with his boring life searches for 'the Great Perhaps' and meets Alaska who gives her hope of 'the Great Perhaps' till she is gone. They look for her but now she is like a great land...nobody knows where to exactly find her. Perhaps I should do this....perhaps I should do that...Should I? Perhaps! ☺

Wow. I am surprised at how much I really liked this book. I really liked all the characters because they gave so much information about them. You felt like you really got to know them. I don't normally get upset when reading books but there were parts that were really upsetting (not going to give anything away about the book). The only character I was not really fond of was Jake. He was so important to Alaska but for some reason he was kind of foreign to me. I thought they played out his adjustm

I have now read three John Green books, in this order: The Fault in Our Stars, An Abundance of Katherines, and Looking for Alaska. It just so happens that I also prefer them in that order. Alaska is another great read, as all of Green's novels are, but I have been so spoiled by Fault that the other two just can't measure up. Get your tissues out when you read this one, folks.
