What Members Thought

I liked the characters but I am also glad to have moved on from that sort of angst and drama. I can’t decide if this is a book I would recommend to my older teen (I don’t for my younger one—though she picked out this book for me from the PBS Great American Read list). I think there is a depressive quality about this that leads me to dissuade my older teen from picking up this book at this time though overall I see that there are important questions and resolutions here to some of the tougher asp

I was really looking forward to reading this book, but sadly it hasn’t impressed me. It’s such a shame as I loved The Fault In The Stars .
I found that the characters didn’t hold much interest fir me , even at a crucial point of the loss of a character. It felt very detached and emotionless-all the way through .

Coming of age story. Stumble!

I hate to say this, I really do but I just don't get the hype. I expected a lot from this book and actually found myself skipping pages hoping it gets good.
