Of COURSE he's hot, of COURSE she's gorgeous (but doesn't know it!!!) and of COURSE none of this stuff would ever ever ever ever ever happen in real life.

Not that everything in books does, otherwise I'd be in Hogwarts right now... (totally different track of mind though...)

Seriously, this book was written excruciatingly simply that it's hardly a read. Btw Mrs. James, people don't talk AT ALL the way Christian and Ana do...so polite and always grammatically correct...yeah okay. I have an English

I liked the book. I am not sure it should be a best seller. I will read the trilogy from the library but not buy the books. I cannot see me reading them again.

MUCH better than I expected.

With a lot of the easy popular books that gain attention (i.e. Twilight) you get a good/semi-good story with, I will be honest, crappy writing. Fifty Shades of Grey, however, was not this. While I did get annoyed with Ana being a complete idiot, EL James did a great job of sticking to her guns and having Ana be the same character throughout the novel.
