Made it through 50% of the book, but no interest to continue.
I actually fell asleep twice while listening to this and just can't stand Ana.
I don't care if this is a character study. I don't care if it is a topic I would otherwise not have experience with.

I can't fathom Anastasia Steele. She's under Grey's spell. I'm not into erotica actually, I gave FSoG a shot coz everybody raves about it.
The characters are over-the-top, the story is so blah... dominatrix and his slave.
I can't finish the book. I don't know, for me FSoG is disturbing.

Reviews for this book are either very good or very bad. I would say it's ok (that's the reason for the two stars). Of course it's not literature, it's a shocking book. People who detest this book might have high expectation before they read the book and become disappointed afterward.

Pretty terrible. I'm bothered by controlling men that stalk women - call me old fashioned. I found the love story elements much more compelling than the sex scenes. Just not my thing.

very good base story line but the details were a little too graphic for my taste... writing could be a little bit better too
This book was pretty good. I wouldn't say that it was well written or thought provoking, but it was entertaining. It is not something that I would normally read, but I enjoyed it. It was an easy read. I'll read the rest of them some day.
