Read for "A book that became a movie" challenge.
its been a long time since a book has affected me like this one. I found myself constantly telling my family I loved them and mourning alongside the tragedies on the news.

Not at all what I was expecting having watched the film first. I’m grateful I did, because I get to enjoy both this way.
This book is a series of stories from survivors of WWZ. Written much like those from the two real World War’s. I was captured and really enjoyed it. I had to stop occasionally when my attention would wain on a story, but once restarting the next day I found I enjoyed all the different points of view and approaches.

I loved this! They way that Brooks wrote this was very inventive. I did not want this book to end! In fact, I thought about rereading the book as soon as I finished.
I was expecting one story, but instead I read a several versions of the same "story." I had favorite voices and there were some that I did not like as well. However, I would definitely read again and have already started recommending it to others! ...more
