Un premier tome qui m'a captivé ! Des chapitres pas trop longs, s'arrêtant souvent à un point crucial, ce qui nous oblige à enchaîner ! Les pages se tournent et les heures passent sans que l'on s'en aperçoive. Nous nous attachons rapidement à notre héros et au fur et à mesure que nous apprenons à connaître les autres blocards, nous les apprécions aussi. At the start of this book, I really had no idea what was going on. Thomas only remember his name, and there’s not really much information given, though Thomas tried really hard to get the information. I actually found this to be quite annoying. No one would tell Thomas anything, so how could anyone expect him to follow the rules? Also, he would have found out about everything eventually, so why choose to leave him in the dark for him to find out with no help? They were just asking for a disaster

As I read The Maze Runner, my anticipation for what was to happen begin at the top. I originally saw the movie preview a few weeks ago and immediately wanted to read the book. In most cases, the book is far better than the movie, but in this case, I’m hoping that the opposite is true. I enjoyed the book’s plot and the idea surrounding the story, but there was something missing from it and I can’t exactly say what. James Dashner is a Brilliant author because the way he writes makes the book a real page turner and impossible to put down. This is the first book in the Maze runner Trilogy/series in which we are introduced to the protagonist Thomas. The reader is introduced to the Glade/Maze and meet all the inhabitants of the Maze.
