Shelves: chick-lit

I had a hard time deciding between 1 and 2 stars. I kept wishing the plot would improve. All if the women in this book were depressing. Not a good, light summer read. I have read some of the reviews that say this book is outstanding. I kept wondering if I got the wrong book from the library. I almost wish I could get back the time I spent reading it on a different book.

This story was interesting but dragged on a bit. Focused on one segment of time in the life of four women from the same family, it really didn't seem a significant story to me. I related to it very much within my own family connections, and it depressed me a little to think I had almost been fascinated enough to write about us in a similar way. I'm glad I didn't.
