Като цяло "Момиченцето с всички дарби" остави у мен усещането за мрачна, плашеща, но и тъжна история, изпълнена с много загуби, празнота, подозрения и страх. Впечатление ми направи доведеният до краен предел инстинкт за оцеляване, въпреки който някои хора все пак успяват да съхранят своята човечност и да се борят, въпреки че не е останало почти нищо, за което да водят тази отчаяна борба.

This was one of those books that I don't even remember putting a hold on from Overdrive and wasn't on my TBR shelf. I am SO glad I did that, because this book was something else. My only complaint is that I did not pick it as a book club book.

I should preface this by saying this is my favorite genre and it really doesn't get old to me, but this book also had my husband hooked who doesn't like the genre much at all. The author was so creative with the details and even added why some things were ...more

My first time trying to read this I couldn't get into it....it was going too slow, it felt like it was trying to hard to be mysterious.

Second time was a success. I liked it much, much more than I originally thought. Your typical apocalyptic "zombie" (or I should say "hungry") story, but I enjoyed the twist of the "hungry" children and their mutation that lets them be tamed and yet never actually tamed. I just don't know about this book. It really started off good, and the story itself was pretty interesting, if you're into dystopian worlds, but....I was strangely bored a lot. The whole premise should not have been boring, so I don't know if they it was because they filled it with too much detail or what.
