What Members Thought
I don't get all the hype. The first third of the book recounted past events to set up the story. The middle third involved the "excitement" of rape and brutal bondage. And the last third (way too much of the book post-climax) drudged on wrapping up an additional storyline. The storyline I was most intrigued by (how a main character was dupped into writing an article that landed him in jail for libel) was quickly summed up in 1 page.
