Delightful re-read for a book club ... lots of fun things that are missing from the movie. Every bit as good the second time around!

This was a delightful re-read of the wonderful Illustrated edition, beautifully illustrated by Jim Kay, in preparation for reading my new Christmas book, which is The Prisoner of Azkaban Illustrated. I enjoyed this so much I likely will have to get the Chamber of Secrets illustrated to read next ... can't take them out of order, of course!

Absolutely, hands down, five stars for this book. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is easily one of the best books I've ever read. And I'd like to think I've read a good many fantastic books and will read many more.
