Another "magical" read from Terry Pratchett. The world is truly a better place with magic, Discworld, and characters like the witches, ghosts, DEATH cameos, plays, kingdoms in chaos, and the occasional coven meeting in it. The witches books are always some of my favorite of Sir Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series and Wyrd Sisters is in my top 3 so far (as I continue my journey in reading, and in some cases re-reading, all 40 some odd books). Granny Weatherwax is such a great character; headstrong but a great heart and I always enjoy her adventures.

As Hwel might say, this is a dramatic story of Sto Lat cabbages and Lancre Kings. Of countries that rebel, Fools that choose their destinies, and destinies that reject their Kings. Not to mention that words create the truth, that truth is not always honest, and sometimes you have to bend them both.
