This was a great, quick read. I had been told to give Nesbo a try for his talent with suspense. I decided on this rather short novel, and wasn't disappointed.
I followed through the eyes of a "fixer" who reminded me of a few movies I've seen with similar characters. The cold, stark atmosphere was perfect for the writing. I didn't totally expect to connect with the "bad guy" but I did and was both happy and sad in the end. ...more
