This was my very first experience with JR Ward. I had not read any of her other books previously. I really enjoyed this read. I felt like I could close my eyes and I was right there in Easterly. I loved the family drama as it reminded me of the days of JR and Dynasty. The family disfunction ran deeper than I ever expected. I was really excited when I first found out about a new series being written by J.R. Ward and that it would be similar to the style of Downtown Abbey. Upon receiving the ARC from the Publisher I was all giddy with excitement and immediately started reading. A nice new series by Ward. I like the setting and really like the characters. I need to know the resolution with Gin and Samuel and Edward and Sutton.... Also looking forward to meeting Max.
