I really enjoyed this new to me series, author and narrator. This is a different twist on the vampire mythology. I had heard good things about this series and thought to try it. I enjoyed it. I laughed, I lusted, I fumed, I quaked, I cheered. I loved. Merit is sassy and smart. Ethan has me worried. I dislike him enough to be totally consumed by him. There is so much unkown yet. But I'm definitely Team Merit!

I haven't read a really good vamp book in ages. Why have I not picked up this series before??? This was so good. Action, humor, and the right amount of UST. I can't wait to jump in to book 2!

I really liked this book. A great, easy read. I kind of got the Pride and Prejiduce feel, after Ethan telling her he liked her despite all of the reasons he shouldn't... I really liked the story line.. and I fell in love with pretty much all the characters... I can't wait to see what happens with Merit and Morgan.. and Merit and Ethan.. and Mallory and Catcher.. and Mal's grandfather.. and Luc and Lindsey.. I just really fell in love with everyone! I will definitely continue the series.
