This one was really on the creepy side. With everything that happens in it and what's brought to light in it, it's just disturbing. I wanted to read it after watching the trailer for the movie, but the book was really weird. One problem, I hate the memo at the end in the epilogue. It just destroys any suspense the whole of the book created. It basically "shows the hand" of the other side and what they're up to. Audiobook narrator Mark Deakins rating: 4 stars
This book kept my interest for about the first 40%. It kind of had a similar feel to book 1, The Maze Runner, in which it was interesting for a while and then tapered off. Though, towards the end, the interest-level picked back up and fluctuated from there. James Dashner has created a pretty dark and dreary world in which these poor kids are test subjects from a ‘wicked’ company.

Ok ok, debo decir que este me atrapó más que el primer libro, seguramente porque no he visto la película y con el primer libro vi la película primero: error! Pero bueno, este libro me deja una terrible sensación de confusión: ¿qué pasó con Thomas? El libro te da sorpresas y te mantiene en suspenso. Ahora mi duda es: ¿veo la segunda película o paso de una vez al libro 3?
