If you like the whimsical world of Wonderland and its quirky characters, you will surely enjoy this book. Those passages were definitely my highlights of the whole story.

This book has been on my TBR for YEARS and I'm so glad that I've finally read it! All the hype around this book when it first came out and the fact that I loved the Lunar Chronicles series so much made this an intimidating book to pick up. Also, I really didn't like Alice in Wonderland so I wondered how a retelling was going to go.

I enjoyed this one. I was a little skeptic about it because I'm not a huge fan of Wonderland, but it was very good! One of the only feelings of confusion it left me was the sudden announcement of sexuality of one of the characters. It made sense, I guess. But it kind of felt like it was just thrown in there to make the book diverse. It could have been laced better through the story I think. But other than that a pretty solid story! ...more

I really enjoyed this! Even though I knew how it must end I kept hoping against hope for a happy ending I knew wasn't to come! I loved the unique spin that Marissa Meyer put on Lewis Carroll's Wonderland! Full review to come!
