If it wasn't for audio I would have DNF'd this book. The names and all the different languages drove me crazy. But after all that I really enjoyed the story. I wanted to know what happened to Agnes. What caused her to murder those 2 men. Great audio book.

This was a really fast read for me as I was really invested in the story. I'd never heard of this book before my goodreads group picked it. The writing was beautiful the characters where well crafted and interesting. I've never read a book set in Iceland before so I was just as interested in the country as I was the characters. The only reason I didn't rate this books 5 stars as sometimes the story moved a little slowly. I also don't like long chapters but I was so invested that I really didn't
