Initially when I finished this book, I gave it a 5... but now that I sit and think about it a day later. It is more of a 4.5 stars for me.
The CHARACTERS! yes, how i love them! Oh so much!
The story in the third book: it is good, i like the continuation of the characters and the story eventually coming to an end. Okay, I need to write a review for this before my emotions subside.
Woah. What a ride this series was. I truly did not expect to become so attached to these characters or so invested in this series, but here I am, just sitting in my room, ruminating over the fact that I'm not a Grisha living in Ravka, but a lowly teenage who should probably be doing her assignments. I used to think Siege & Storm was the best of the trilogy, and while Nikolai is my favorite character, I still think plot wise Ruin & Rising exceeds the first two books, despite the ending.
